To the Empowering Scholars community,
Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, effective Monday, 3/16, we will be holding all tutoring sessions remotely. We have been conducting remote sessions since the company began in 2014 and have a lot of experience using online platforms and tailoring our work with students so it is just as effective as in-person sessions.
We have expanded our online support to prepare for extended school closures. We know that the transition to independent learning, at-home projects, and using eLearning platforms can be difficult for some students in regards to motivation, self-regulation, and full comprehension of expectations and requirements. This may be especially true for middle and elementary school students who have less experience and exposure to these types of programs. At Empowering Scholars, our tutors are experienced and well-equipped to support students through these changes in the coming weeks.
